Practical, comfortable, and refined, the Accord has long been a great choice for professionals, parents, and retirees alike. As it evolves with each new refresh, this sedan only gets better and better, with new features enhancing your experience behind the wheel. It certainly makes us proud to carry the latest lineup here at Hudson Honda.

Today, we're going to take a look at some of the tech features of the 2026 Honda Accord. For this model year, several previously available features have become standard fare across all trim levels. Many other advanced features are returning for another year. Together, these make the Accord a high-tech car full of helpful conveniences designed to improve your life.

Newly Standard Tech

If you're looking for a well-rounded entry-level trim, you'll love the Accord's changes for the 2026 model year. Three important upgrades make this affordable model more high-tech than ever before.

While the non-hybrid trim levels still have a smaller touchscreen than their hybrid counterparts, that display is now an inch larger than the 2025 model-year version. Instead of an eight-inch touchscreen, you can read text more clearly and avoid mis-clicking buttons more easily with a larger nine-inch unit. This full-color display is the main way to interact with the infotainment system, supplemented by tactile controls (including some built into the steering wheel for easy access) and voice commands.

The other upgrades mean that you don't have to rely on cables as much to connect your smartphone to your Accord. While cords are always handy, and the Accord still comes with plenty of USB ports to satisfy you and your passengers, they are also prone to breaking or getting lost, and having too many in the cabin can clutter the interior. On top of that, you need to take time to plug them in, or risk them becoming unplugged, which is fine on a normal day but can add to the stress of a busy morning.

Now, in 2026, all Accord trims come standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which allow you to cordlessly connect your device to the car's interface so that you can get step-by-step navigation, stream music and other audio entertainment, and answer calls and texts hands-free while you're behind the wheel. On top of that, you'll have a standard wireless charging pad, so you don't have to worry about your phone's battery running low to enjoy the full convenience of going wireless.

Returning Standard Tech

In addition to the newly standard tech, other advanced features will continue to come standard across the Accord lineup. For example, every model features a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster behind the wheel, supplementing the touchscreen display. This one is right below your line of sight as the driver, putting information in a convenient place so you can keep your eyes on the road as long as possible. Because it's digital, it can also be customized to meet your needs.

All models also offer remote engine start. You can get the ignition going from your phone, and the climate control will start along with it. By the time you step inside the cabin, it will be just the right temperature, so you won't have to suffer through cold winter mornings or hot summer days.

Excellent Hybrid Upgrades

While the base trims of the Accord are packed with great tech features, there are still perks to upgrading to a higher trim. On the 2026 Accord, upgrading beyond the two entry-level trims means getting a hybrid powertrain, which is itself an advanced technology that produces 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque while delivering up to 48 MPG combined, so you can enjoy ultimate power and fuel efficiency in one system.[a]

Every hybrid trim of the Accord comes with the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, making everything easier to see and navigate. You'll also have more voice command options with Alexa built-in. Upgrade all the way to the top-tier Touring Hybrid trim, and you'll get Google built-in as well, plus a six-inch head-up display that projects directly onto the lower windshield so you can see important alerts and drive data without taking your eyes off the road at all.

Advanced Driver Assistance

Some of the most important tech features on board any Honda model are the advanced safety and driver assistance features, which help you avoid danger and stay fully aware of your surroundings, everywhere from a busy parking lot to a highway at rush hour. The 2026 Accord comes standard with the Honda Sensing suite, a comprehensive collection of driver assistance features that address a wide range of concerns.

Most of these features come standard on all trims, including the base LX. This includes the Collision Mitigation Braking System, which helps you stay alert and avoid colliding with everything from other vehicles to bicyclists and pedestrians. The Road Departure Mitigation System and Lane Keeping Assist System with Traffic Jam Assist help prevent unintentional drifting, so you can keep moving in the right direction.

Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow comes in handy for longer drives on the highway, since it lets you keep cruise control on even as the speed of traffic shifts over time. Your Accord will maintain a set following distance, so you'll always have a safe buffer between your car and the vehicle ahead. Even so, it's important to always be focusing on the road ahead, which is why the standard Driver Attention Monitor is on board to give you a gentle nudge when it determines you need to refocus.

Automatic High-Beam Headlights let you see clearly at night, but they turn off automatically when light levels are high enough that they're unnecessary, or when the system detects oncoming traffic. Traffic Sign Recognition keeps track of speed limits and other posted rules so you can glance at the digital driver display for a quick reminder in areas where the limit changes often, making it difficult to keep track.

You get more high-tech features as you ascend the trim ladder. On everything above the base LX (including the non-hybrid SE), you'll get a Blind Spot Information System that helps you stay in control on the highway as well as a Cross Traffic Monitor that comes in handy when backing out of a parking spot, alerting you to any drivers approaching from the side. The EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid trims also come with front and rear parking sensors to help you keep dings at bay.
