The free-floating design of the gauge cluster certainly catches the eye, but we actually find it a bit distracting compared to a standard gauge setup, which is the last thing you want.
Although we have not seen every detail of the new RAV4 just yet, we assume there will be some nice options for enhanced sound systems and more. Overall, we are impressed by what is there, but there is room for improvement, and some of the changes we do see feel unnecessary.
By comparison, the 2026 CR-V is a beautifully designed and well-appointed showcase for the best that Honda has to offer. You start with a gorgeous nine-inch infotainment screen that looks fantastic, paired with a standard seven-inch meter display, a four-speaker sound system, and push-button start. A wireless charging pad is standard in every CR-V this year, ensuring you can always keep your devices powered.
At higher trims, you can get a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel, an automatic-dimming rearview mirror, a larger 10.2-inch Digital Instrument Cluster that never feels in the way, and even a 12-speaker Bose Premium sound system. All of this comes together to make the CR-V a fantastic option that is incredibly fun to drive.
